Tama's Meaning
In Japanese, tama (魂) means "soul", for our approach, every dish is crafted with heart, tradition.and intention. Inspired by the Shinto belief that all things have a spirit, we honor each ingredientwith care and respect, creating sushi that's as soulful as it is unforgettable.
Our Story
We are a chef-driven restaurant committed to using only the finest fish, vegetables, sushi rice and made-from-scratch sauces. Each dish is a harmonious reflection of honoring a traditional cuisine and rediscovering it through a modern lens.
The word sushi originally means fermented fish. Over a period of 2000 years this dish (and the character symbols that are used to represent the word "sushi" ) has evolved into the Edo style sushi, or the sushi commonly known today.
